Summary: Living on a group of islands in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and Mozambique, the Ngazidja Comorians are a people full of farmers and fishermen! Though the young people living there often wear Western style clothing, traditional clothing is still common among adults. Children are expected to help with the farming, fishing and caring for the livestock. For recreation, the Comorians enjoy dancing, singing and playing instruments, especially horns and drums.
Obstacles: In the past, the Comorians have been very resistant to any religious change. However, more recently they have become more receptive. Any outreach through written materials would be difficult due to the high illiteracy rate.
How reach: Working for education, healthcare and other crucial resources to be more widely available will help these people have better lives. Having believers minister to them through actions may lead them to Christ.
Pray for church: Pray that anyone working to bring the good news to the Comorians may be met with receptiveness.
Pray for p g: Pray that all of the Comorians would have access to all the things they need to be physically and spiritually content. Pray that they may learn about Jesus and be saved. Pray that more people would go and share God's Word with them.

Summary: The Ndzwani Comorians reside on the island of Ndzwani, one of three main islands in the Comoro archipelago, off the coast of East Africa, in the Indian Ocean. They are a blend of immigrant Iranian traders, Africans, Arabs and Malagasy who have intermarried over a period of centuries. Ndzwani Comorians work as farmers or fishermen. Some raise cattle, sheep, goats and donkeys. A small number work in industry or in tourism. The Comoros Islands are very poor and underdeveloped.
Obstacles: The Ndzwani Comorians follow traditional Islam with the addition of witchcraft, including charms, magic and trances. These provide spiritual strongholds which keep them away from the only savior. While the nation officially promotes freedom of religion, t
How reach: Because of their poverty, the Ndzwani Comorians would benefit greatly from medical assistance, clean water sources, dependable food supplies and educational opportunities. These can come from Christian agencies.
Pray for church: Pray for the Lord to reveal to the Ndzwani Comorians the spiritual lies that hold them back, and give them a hunger for truth. Ask God to soften their hearts and open their blinded minds to the truth of the gospel. Pray for workers who will go to the Ndzwani Comorians and demonstrate God's for them.
